Two countries, one team

Beams Events plan and style events in two countries. London and Kent on one side, Lagos on the other. So the first question is always the same one: do you cover my city? Yes to both, and the team travels between them. If your wedding is in Dartford and your family party is in Lagos, you are talking to one planner about both, not two companies who have never met. Send us the venue and the date and we will give you a straight yes or no rather than leaving you wondering.

Three days, one family, one team holding it

Mama's 70th is the clearest picture of how we work. It was not one party, it was three days of a family's pride. The Sunday church service came first, because that was what mattered most to her, and we treated it that way. Then the owambe. Then an after-party that turned the same venue into a night club. Different rooms, different moods, our team on the ladders between each of them, with the full vendor line-up booked and briefed by us from start to finish.

Church first, always

The Sunday service mattered most to Mama, so it was planned first and styled properly, not treated as a warm-up to the real thing.

Then the owambe

The celebration the family had been waiting for. Full decor, the room dressed for the woman of the day, everything timed so nobody was left standing about.

Then the after-party

Same venue, completely different feeling. Lights down, night club energy, the younger ones dancing until it was properly late.

The whole vendor team

Co-planner, caterer, small chops station, fruit, cake, photographer, videographer, content creator. Booked, briefed and kept to time by us, so the family never had to chase anyone.

From first message to last dance

You send us the day

A DM with the date, the city and roughly how many guests. If you have a Pinterest board, even better. If you have nothing but a feeling, that is fine too, we can start from a feeling.

We come back with a plan and a figure

What we would do, how we would run it, and what it costs. No mystery pricing and no pressure. If we are not the right team for your day, we will say so.

We build the day around you

Timings, layout, the vendor team booked and briefed, the decor designed. For a celebration that runs over several days we plan each part on its own, because a church service and an after-party want very different rooms.

We are there from the ladders to the last song

We are in early building it, so the first time you walk in, it is finished. Setup, the changeovers, the quiet fixes nobody sees. You are getting dressed, not directing anyone.

The things people ask us first

Do you cover my city?

London, Kent and Dartford in the UK, and Lagos in Nigeria. Those are our two homes. If your day is somewhere between or beyond, send us the venue and the date and you will get a straight yes or no, not a maybe.

Do you plan the whole event or just the decor?

Either, and often both. Most teams are one or the other, so the styling arrives on the day with nobody who knows the running order. We plan and we decorate, and we bring the caterer, the cake, the photographer and the rest in around us. You speak to one team, not eight.

What does it cost?

It comes down to the city, the size of the room, how many days and how much of the day you want us holding. Send us those four things and you will get a real figure back, not a guess.

Can you run an event over more than one day?

Yes. Mama's 70th was not one party, it was three. A Sunday church service first, because that was the part that mattered most to her. Then the owambe. Then an after-party that turned the same venue into a night club. Each part needed a different room and a different set of hands.

Which vendors do you bring?

Co-planner, caterer, small chops station, fruit, cake, photographer, videographer and content creator. If you already have people you love, we work alongside them. If you do not, we bring ours and we brief them.

How far ahead should I book?

We are taking 2026 bookings now. If you are six months out, that is a good time to talk, even if nothing is decided yet.
